A Loyalty Club
Membership of this club is free. On completion of the membership form, you will receive a membership card with a unique number. Present your membership card every time you make a purchase and receive a stamp for every £10 you spend on full price items (seasonal sales and bargain boxes are excluded). As soon as your card is full, when you have collected 12 stamps, you may present it at any future purchase of your choice to receive a £10 discount. You will also receive a new card with a new unique number and may continue to collect stamps.
If you are, or as soon as you become a member of the Fibre + Clay group on Ravelry, the networking site for Knitters and Crocheters, you automatically receive 3 stamps on your membership card.
Knitting and Crochet Workshop fees also qualify for loyalty stamps. You will receive 4 stamps for every workshop you attend. We no longer offer 10% discount on yarns bought on the day of the workshop however, all purchases made during the workshop will automatically qualify for loyalty stamps.
From time to time we will surprise you with special event offers and one-off opportunities to earn extra loyalty stamps. For example, if you tell us the date of your birthday on your membership form, you will receive an invitation to gain extra loyalty stamps during your birthday month.
KNITTING NEWS JUNE 2010 SIZZLING SUMMER SOLSTICE SALE I cannot think of a better day to announce our BIG mid-year sale, than today's Summer Solstice! From tomorrow it will be downhill all the way. Days will become shorter, autumn will be upon us and winter will follow. Before you can say "just let me finish my row" it will be Christmas and your friends and family will want to fondle and admire their gifts, all lovingly knitted or crocheted by you! Make it happen for them by starting NOW. We are offering between 30% and 40% discount across our yarn ranges. For example, we are taking 40% off yarns like Rowan Extra Fine Merino and Silk/Wool DK as well as Noro Silk Garden Lite and Chunky and Blossom, and Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, just to mention a few. Almost all of the rest of our yarns will have 30% off for the next 3 weeks. The Sale is not the only good reason to visit us in the next few weeks. Winter Yarn Sale
We have decided to extend the sale until next Saturday, 23rd January, to allow all those who were snowed in last week to pay us a visit this week.
Starts Monday 4 January 2010 and runs for 2 weeks. We are offering 30% discount on the current season's yarns. NEW PRODUCTS
We now stock Knit-pro Symphonie Wood interchangeable circular needles. We have all the cable lengths and the standard lenght tips in stock and are waiting for the short tips to arrive.
The last book to arrive for this season, was the beatiful Winter Blooms by Kim Hargreaves. We are eagerly awaitingthe next Rowan Studio book, dedicated to the Felted Tweed family - hopefully it's arrival will coincide with our yarn sale.
And before you can say Autumn/Winter, the Rowan Magazine for Spring/Summer 2010 will arrive. Circle 15th January in your diary, that's when you can start looking out for it.

The Knit Studio at Fibre + Clay is offering 30% discount on all Summer yarns until the end of July. We are also eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Rowan Studio 16 pattern book for a last blast of bright and breezy Summer knitting – don't go on holiday without one. We have been promised this issue will be in the shop soon. If you're visiting the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park later this month, be sure to pop in – we are staying open late during the week of the show to allow visitors to the show to do some late night shopping. ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP SCHEME FOR KNIT GROUPS
We offer a three tiered membership scheme to all the knitters and crocheters who attend our weekly knit group meetings on Tuesday mornings from 11am until 1pm and on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
Silk Membership: £150 per year – you can attend each and every knit group meeting, get 10% discount on all full price yarn purchases and get the two Rowan magazines (Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer) free each year.
Wool Membership: £100 per year – you can attend each and every knit group meeting and get 7.5% discount on all full price yarn purchases.
Cotton Membership: £50 per year – you can attend each and every knit group meeting.
Open membership: You don’t have to join the membership scheme in order to attend the knit group meetings. Non-members are equally welcome and are requested to make a contribution every time they attend: £2 per Tuesday morning and £3 per Thursday evening.
We’ve been running this membership scheme for almost a year now and the renewal date is looming. Payment for the annual membership level you have selected needs to be received by 30th July 2009.
KNITTING AND CROCHET WORKSHOP PROGRAMME
We have a full programme of workshops running all through the summer, including our first course for children on 8th August. We're also taking bookings right up until the festive season - contact us now to make sure of your place. You can see the full list on the Knit Workshops page, including details of how to book.
• All workshops start at 10:00 and finish at 16:00 • The cost of £40 per workshop includes all teas and coffees and lunch at a local restaurant
• You will get 10% discount on all yarn purchased on the day of the workshop
• You will receive a full set of printed notes on all topics covered during the workshop
• The workshop fee is payable at the time of booking.
